In a time where it is imperative to stay safe, stay indoors and stay away from others, West Ham United’s Twitter page had some fun…and it sparked some interesting reaction.
With the Hammers currently occupying 16th place in the Premier League, the 2019/20 season has been suspended until the COVID-19 pandemic has been resolved and everyone is safe to go back to their normal routines.
And sporting events across the world have come to a halt. With everything at a standstill, social media accounts are trying their best to keep spirits high and entertain the fans in any way they can.
We have already seen Leyton Orient’s FIFA ‘Ultimate Quaran-Team’ idea become a worldwide hit, with the 128-team competition attracting attention from thousands all over the globe.
As for West Ham, the club’s social media team have been trying to entertain the fans with different ideas, and the latest one to be published had the claret and blue faithful producing some excellent replies…
We did social distancing all season with the gap in between everyone and haller
