So that’s what winning feels like…
Our first half against Southampton was awful, and we were extremely lucky to have only been trailing by one goal going in to the break.
But Big Slav mixed it up half time, made two changes and we instantly saw the benefits of that as the team looked sharper going forward, much more creative and hell bent on getting themselves back in the game.
Goals from Michail Antonio and Andy Carroll ensured we ended 2015 with all three points and in seventh place, and as usual there were a number of talking points to take away from the game.
Manuel Lanzini’s return – outstanding.
Michail Antonio – promisingly exciting.
Andy Carroll – the super sub.
Mark Noble – Man of the Match?
Enner Valencia – Proving us wrong?
Slaven Bilic – tactical genius?
All of the above and much more is discussed in Hammers Chat‘s latest show, where they talk about that win over Southampton and all the positives we’ve been able to take out of it…
