Galatasaray are closing in on the signing of West Ham United winger Sofiane Feghouli, according to reports in the Turkish media.

Turkish media outlet beinsports is reporting that a deal for Sofiane Feghouli to join Galatasaray is complete.

A fee in the region of €4.5m has reportedly been agreed after positive negotiations and now Feghouli looks set for the exit door.

Sofiane Feghouli had a disappointing debut season in England after joining West Ham from Valencia last summer on a free transfer.

The Algerian international failed to replicate the impressive form he showed in La Liga but he did show glimpses of his talent on occasions.

Whether Sofiane Feghouli figures in Slaven Bilic’s long-term plans at West Ham remains to be seen as he was handed more opportunities towards the end of the campaign.

The 27-year-old grabbed four goals and three assists in 27 appearances for the Hammers, but he only managed 11 Premier League starts.

Galatasaray could offer Sofiane Feghouli a chance to escape from West Ham and reignite his stalling career in Turkey.

The Turkish giants had a disappointing campaign last time, finishing 4th in the Turkish Super Lig.

West Ham are said to be looking for a new winger and this could mean that Feghouli is pushed out as a result.
