Injuries to key players have blighted the start of our season.

Almost every key man you can think of had an injury of some kind during the opening few weeks of the new campaign, but now it looks as if we’ve put those issues behind us.

The international break came at the right time for us – the chance to key some of our injured players fit and have them ready for the return of the football that really matters to us.

The visit of Watford on Saturday afternoon presents a huge opportunity to get our second win of the campaign, and will also see the return (and debut) of four crucial players to our squad.

Dimitri Payet, Manuel Lanzini and Sofiane Feghouli are all expected to start against Watford; as is Simone Zaza, who should make his debut following his loan move from Juventus.

All four players will instantly improve our game, especially going forward, and hopefully we’ll finally get a glimpse of the West Ham we saw last season, and the club have confirmed they’ll be in the team on Saturday…
