With just under two months to go until the end of the season, focus will soon be drawn towards the summer transfer window.
After last year’s busy summer period, outlined by several very successful signings, the squad now has a very fresh and exciting look to it, one packed with potential. We strengthened in some key areas and have real depth and flexibility within the squad, so now it is time to build further.
Rumours in recent weeks have began to circulate regarding some big names we are allegedly attracting. With the way the club is moving forward, it wouldn’t come as a shock if we were able to bring in a couple of big signings this summer but, as always, the truth behind the gossip remains to be seen.
The club is undergoing a huge transition at the moment, and the main focus needs to be not just adding as much strength as possible, but securing some of the players who are currently on loan with the club, but have become real core members of the squad.
