Discipline
As previously mentioned, it has been an atrocious display of discipline, especially from the more senior players in the team.
Despite a dubious decision going against Adrian vs. Leicester, Jenkinson’s red was definitely the most upsetting as it not only rounded up a pretty dismal display by the right back, but also showed lack of care or priority.
However, he was a star in England’s Euro U21 campaign over the summer and I can only hope fatigue was the factor in his first game back and I hope he has that games break now to get himself back on track.
This was obviously a risk with a partnership of Bilic and Dicks on the bench shouting threatening obscenities at the team, but certainly not an excuse for five red cards already this season.
Again, it’s really just a matter of remembering the basics.
