The start of a new era at West Ham United has seen a marvellous opening day win against Arsenal at the Emirates, before two disappointing consecutive home defeats at the hands of Leicester City and newly promoted AFC Bournemouth respectively.
With a change of style from previous boss Sam Allardyce, predecessor Slaven Bilic has opted for a 4-4-2 diamond formation when required.
This obviously worked against the Gunners, but in the previous two games where we have massively underperformed, the need for added bite in midfield, especially wingers, is definitely needed at Upton Park.
