Patrick Bamford
Chelsea’s young striker Patrick Bamford could be a very useful addition to the squad, especially as we have an injury prone attack.
Primarily a striker but also capable of operating on the wing or just behind a front man, Bamford has shone in a fine Middlesbrough side this season and is currently engaged in a play-off campaign.
The 21-year-old is unlikely to shift Diego Costa or Loic Remy out of the first team picture, so Jose Mourinho could be persuaded into shipping the Championship Player of the Year out on loan for another term.
Middlesbrough will undoubtedly be interested if they secure promotion and we may have to fight off competition from Aston Villa and Sunderland for Bamford’s signature.
