It’s all change at West Ham this summer, with the arrival of Manuel Pellegrini set to shake things up significantly at the London Stadium.

Three new recruits have already been secured and the capture of Felipe Anderson from Lazio is also widely reported to be on the verge of completion – and Pellegrini could still eye changes in other areas of his side.

Central midfield is another area where West Ham are said to be eyeing improvements ahead of the new Premier League campaign and suggestions have indicated that Edimilson Fernandes could be sold.

Football.London now report that the 22-year-old Switzerland international has returned to pre-season training early as he seeks to impress Pellegrini, retaining his spot in the first-team squad.

Fernandes saw his involvement for West Ham severely limited last season due to an ankle injury, which forced him to miss four months of the campaign – making just 16 appearances overall.

Currently back home in Switzerland, Fernandes displayed on Instagram that his work ahead of the new season has already begun.
