West Ham have endured a difficult season this term, with many pointing to poor recruitment last summer as a reason behind their struggles.

The Hammers signings from last year have largely failed to impress, with loanee Simone Zaza returning to Juventus in January and another loan recruit, Jonathan Calleri, also struggling.

Algerian international Sofiane Feghouli has also failed to settle into the rigours of the Premier League fully and there’s now suggestions the former Valencia man could be on the way out.

A report shared on Twitter suggested West Ham won’t activate their option to sign Calleri permanently this summer, whilst indicating the Hammers will listen to offers for Feghouli.

Neither deal will raise funds significantly for the Hammers, as Calleri’s spell is only on-loan whilst Feghouli won’t fetch a high fee, although it would free space for Slaven Bilic to seal summer deals.

Fans on social media seemed perfectly happy to let the pair leave, as they’re unimpressed with their contributions this season.
