West Ham’s need for a wealth of summer transfer activity has been made abundantly clear with their struggles this season, although not all links are going down well.

Slaven Bilic’s side have been linked with a host of potential signings across European football, with a familiar name appearing once again: Jonathan Cafu.

The Brazilian winger, currently plying his trade for Bulgarian outfit FC Ludogorets, is being linked with a big move away this summer and the Hammers are one of many sides keen.

Battling it out with clubs in Italy and Portugal for a deal, as well as fighting off interest from Leicester City closer to home, a deal would cost around €12m- activating the South American’s release-clause.

However, not all fans are happy with the potential signing of Cafu as they believe other areas of the squad should be prioritised for improvements- stating that the Hammers already have enough wingers.

With the club crying out for defensive improvements and a top-class striker, it’s easy to see why they’re frustrated by these reports.
