West Ham face a major challenge ahead of them this summer, as the Hammers look to rejuvenate their ranks to compete next season.
Slaven Bilic’s side have struggled in their maiden campaign at the Olympic Stadium, sitting seven points above the relegation zone with four difficult fixtures remaining.
Although the status of the East London side in the Premier League is not mathematically secure, the Hammers should now be safe from the job and can start identifying the necessary improvements.
Everyone is entitled to their views on what needs improving in the squad and West Ham star Michail Antonio has shared his opinion, stating the Hammers need to sign a right-back, a centre-half and two strikers.
Antonio is confident West Ham can seal a return to European football with those recruits and many fans on social media agree with him- although some are questioning why a player would speak out about potential signings.
@WHUFC_News Seems to talk more sense than the manager/owners

@WHUFC_News Why is a player saying what we need? Wonder what all the CB's at the club make of Antonio's comments saying we need a new CB?
@WHUFC_News @WHUFCTALK1 We need a goal keeper desperately

@WHUFC_News Lol, that's 40% of the team! I can't disagree, but these are the players we needed last season as well.

@WHUFC_News We have needed them for the last 3 seasons , what makes next season so special
@WHUFC_News He should keep shut up not his place to say that, he's the one moaning for more money and rejecting contracts.
