West Ham United fans were sent into meltdown on Twitter after rumours started circulating that Marko Arnautovic was ruled out for a few weeks with a hamstring injury.
Rumours suggested that Arnautovic felt his hamstring during the match against Bournemouth but continued and now he is facing a spell on the sidelines.
The Austrian has been in fine form for West Ham recently, playing a starring role in the ascent up the Premier League table.
But now West Ham could have to work without him for a while.
With Wigan Athletic in the FA Cup as the next fixture this coming weekend, Arnautovic was likely to be rested anyway but he might be out for the following league games.
After losing Manuel Lanzini to injury as well recently, West Ham are without their two main creative sparks in midfield and two of their main goal scorers.
Here are how West Ham fans reacted to this news on Twitter after rumours started doing the rounds.
It’s all to do with muscle fatigue you can be as fit as you like but if your body isn’t getting the appropriate recovery time you will struggle. Lanzini played 3games in 8days with one going to extra time, it’ll have its effect if you do not have a strong enough squad.

The board won't sanction signings to cover the injuries. They just won't let Ayew nor Sakho go. As you were, then.

This is a bit ridiculous. Surely this means we’ll be making some decent signings? We’re only a few bad results away from relegation and this injury list is absurd!

Lanzini & Arnautovic out? Still no players brought in. I feel a meltdown coming on… #WHUFC
