According to The Mirror, Everton are the latest club to enter the race for West Ham United star Manuel Lanzini.
Manuel Lanzini has been the standout attacking performer for West Ham, especially since the departure of Dimitri Payet in January.
The 24-year-old possesses great skill, speed, agility, dribbling ability and also has an end product.
This makes him a prize asset for the Hammers, who are desperate to keep their star man at the club.
The Argentinian play maker has recently been linked with a move to some of the elite clubs in the Premier League.
Liverpool want Lanzini if Philippe Coutinho leaves while Arsenal and Tottenham are also interested in the “Little Jewel”.
However, West Ham slapped a £30m price tag on Lanzini to fend off interest from the Premier League big boys.
But now Everton have entered the race for the former River Plate and Al Jazira attacking midfielder.
If Ross Barkley leaves, Everton are lining up a move for Gylfi Sigurdsson or Manuel Lanzini as his replacement.
This saga is likely to continue into the summer but West Ham will be looking to tie the exciting South American down to a new contract to see off any interest from others.
