According to an exclusive report by The Sun, West Ham United defender James Collins is a summer transfer target for Everton.
Everton are looking to poach Collins from West Ham as they eye an experienced head at the back.
The Toffees are looking for a fourth centre half to compete with Michael Keane, Ashley Williams and Phil Jagielka.
This news comes after Ramiro Funes Mori was ruled out with a long-term injury and Matthew Pennington was sent on loan to Leeds United.
James Collins has been identified as a £2m target who can fill that role.
The Wales international only has one year left on his current West Ham deal so Everton are eyeing a cut-price move.
Crystal Palace and Stoke City are also interested in the 33-year-old.
Collins would add plenty of experience to these two sides, having played over 250 Premier League games during two spells with the Hammers and a stint at Aston Villa.
West Ham do have plenty of options at centre back.
As well as James Collins, the Hammers have Winston Reid, Angelo Ogbonna and Jose Fonte vying for starting spots, alongside young duo Reece Burke and Declan Rice.
However, Collins is a fans’ favourite and seems settled at West Ham.
