West Ham’s struggles to sign a striker this summer have been well documented, with the Hammers missing out on numerous targets – most notably Maxi Gómez.

Even with Javier Hernández being told he will be West Ham’s main striker, according to ExWHUEmployee, the Hammers still need recruits up top, with Xande Silva and Jordan Hugill the Hammers’ main alternative options as it stands.

There has been a plethora of strikers who have been linked with West Ham since it was confirmed Gómez won’t be joining.

ExWHUemployee has thrown two more into the mix…

Fedor Chalov and Youssef En-Nesyri are relative unknowns to many West Ham fans, who play for CSKA Moscow and Leganés respectively.

Chalov is a 21-year-old who stands at 180cm tall and scored 15 league goals in 30 appearances in the Russian Premier Liga last season. He also added two Champions League goals in six games – including a very coolly taken finish to open the scoring in a 3-0 win away against Real Madrid.

En-Nesyri is 22-years-old, stands at 189cm and managed nine goals in 31 La Liga appearances last campaign. He also managed two goals in four games for Morocco at the African Cup of nations this summer.

Despite the pair having decent records, some fans aren’t impressed, considering the calibre of former targets who have escaped the Hammers’ clutches.
