Despite the transfer window closing in England last week, West Ham could still see a number of departures before the end of the month.

Clubs outside of the Premier League have until the end of August to negotiate loan deals, while the window on the continent remains open for a few more weeks.

An exit for Edimilson Fernandes is on the verge of going ahead, as Gianluca Di Marzio states Fiorentina are set to sign the 22-year-old.

The Switzerland midfielder will move to the Serie A side on loan until the end of the season, with Fiorentina then having the option for a permanent purchase for a fee of £8m.

Four-cap Swiss international Fernandes is said to have had a medical in Italy over the weekend ahead of a move, which will end two years on West Ham’s books.

Since signing from FC Sion in 2016, Fernandes has made 42 Premier League appearances.
