West Ham United confirmed on the club’s official website last night that Sead Haksabanovic has signed for the Hammers.

Sead Haksabanovic becomes our fifth signing of the summer transfer window, following Pablo Zabaleta, Joe Hart, Marko Arnautovic and Javier Hernandez through the door at the London Stadium.

West Ham snap up Haksabanovic for an undisclosed fee but ESPN FC reported yesterday that it was a €3m figure.

That roughly equates to £2.7m.

According to the same report, Haksabanovic has also had trials before at Chelsea, Manchester City, Manchester United and Liverpool.

However, it appears that West Ham have won the race for the exciting starlet.

The 18-year-old joins from Halmstads BK, where he starred in an attacking midfield role.

They play in the Swedish Allsvenskan, the top tier of football in Sweden.

With seventy first team appearances already under his belt, Haksabanovic has moved on to try his hand in England.

The once-capped Montenegro international puts pen to paper on a long term contract with West Ham United.

Haksabanovic has committed his future to West Ham with a five year deal, which runs until summer 2022.

The talented teenager joins the Hammers, although it is unclear whether he is considered ready for the first team yet.
