West Ham United have completed the signing of Pablo Zabaleta, the club’s official website confirmed.

Pablo Zabaleta will officially join West Ham on the 1st July and he becomes our first signing of this summer.

The Argentinian international puts pen to paper on a two year deal with the Hammers after leaving Manchester City at the end of this season.

The experienced right back will come in to provide competition for young full back Sam Byram.

West Ham have beat off competition to land the 32-year-old ahead of next season.

Pablo Zabaleta’s successful career so far has seen him win many trophies.

The former San Lorenzo and Espanyol defender has won the Copa Del Rey, two Premier League titles, two League Cup titles, the FA Cup and an Olympic gold medal with Argentina.

Zabaleta is a club legend at Manchester City, having played 332 games for them during his nine years at the club.

In the past year, he has been used more sparingly but before that he was a regular in the Citizens’ starting XI.

Pablo Zabaleta is the first summer signing for West Ham and there will be hopefully be plenty more quality additions following him through the door at the London Stadium before the 2017/18 campaign gets underway.
