Diafra Sakho today returned to training with the West Ham United team.

Football journalist Sam Inkersole reported the news and West Ham United’s official snapchat account posted a picture of Diafra Sakho training in the gym.

A little later in the day, West Ham United’s official Twitter account posted a picture of Diafra Sakho doing a training drill on grass.

The Senegal international’s 2016/17 season was blighted by a combination of injuries and attitude problems.

After failing to force an exit from West Ham last summer – due to a failed medical at West Brom – Sakho was forced to remain in East London.

However, injury problems limited him to just four games.

When fit and disciplined, Sakho can be a handful with his pace and versatility.

However, many fans are running out of patience with his constant niggles and poor behaviour.

Here are how fans reacted when they found out that Diafra Sakho had returned to training.
