For the first time since in recent memory we’re a bit of force away from home.

Excluding our calamitous Europe League campaign during the summer, we currently boast a 100% away record this season and the fact all three of our wins away from the Boleyn Ground have come against Arsenal, Liverpool and Manchester City is quite incredible.

That would have many fans seeing tonight’s trip to Leicester City as the perfect opportunity to make that four wins from four on the road this season.

But if you’ve supported West Ham long enough then you’ll know full well a win tonight is far from a formality, not just because we have a habit of undoing all our good work with a poor performance, but because Leicester are also in the form of their lives.

The Capital One Cup tends to hand managers the opportunity to field a weaker(ish) side than normal, and we should expect to see an element of that from Slaven Bilic at the King Power tonight.

While it’s hard to even contemplate the idea that Bilic doesn’t have one eye on potentially trying to win the Capital One Cup this season (he’s not the type to go in to something half heartedly), you have to expect him to make a number of changes to the side that won at the Etihad on Saturday.

So here’s a look at how West Ham might line up against Leicester tonight…
