According to The Mirror, Chelsea are willing to let Michy Batshuayi join West Ham United this summer.

Michy Batshuayi has been a top target for the Hammers since last summer, when Chelsea beat the East London outfit to his signature as he left Marseille.

Now Chelsea are ready to let Batshuayi complete a move to West Ham on one condition.

West Ham have been linked with a loan move for the Chelsea striker but The Mirror is reporting that the Irons must buy Batshuayi outright rather than sign him on loan.

It has been a disappointing season in Batshuayi’s career with all seventeen of his Premier League appearances coming from the bench.

Chelsea are apparently not keen to loan the 23-year-old out and would rather that he was flogged on a permanent basis.

Whether they would demand anything close to the £33m fee they paid for the Belgium international last summer remains to be seen but West Ham appear to be in the driving seat to land Batshuayi.

West Ham are hoping that Batshuayi can add pace up top and solve their longstanding striker crisis.
