Robert Snodgrass could be leaving West Ham after just four months at the club.
It appears that Brighton and Hove Albion are willing to make an £8m bid to try and get the Scotsman to the Amex Arena for their debut season in the Premier League. Chris Hughton wants to sign Snodgrass to install some Premier League quality to his squad and reunite after their relationship at Norwich City.
Slaven Bilic is keen to take a small hit and to cash in on Snoddy after not making an impression in 15 games, creating just two assists.
It can be suggested that Snodgrass’ move to West Ham was a tactical move by weakening the opposition to secure their Premier League status for the following season. The Hammers finished 11th, so with the club looking to lose £2m in transfer fees, the Premier League prize money has softened the blow.
The rumoured £8m fee will be a nice increase to Bilic’s transfer kitty as Tony Henry continues to improve the starting XI with his team of scouts.
