West Ham are braced for major changes this summer and a shake-up could occur between the sticks at the London Stadium.

Spanish goalkeeper Adrian is approaching the end of his contract, whilst Darren Randolph has been criticised for poor performances lately- although he retains the backing of Slaven Bilic.

Come the summer, West Ham may eye a top-class goalkeeping addition to boost their chances of success and one name being mentioned is Brighton’s David Stockdale.

The 31-year-old has excelled for the Seagulls this season, clinching a place in the Championship PFA Team Of The Year and helping Chris Hughton’s side clinch promotion.

However, the Mirror reports (20 April, page 59) that the newly-promoted Premier League side are fearful of losing their veteran goalkeeper this summer.

Interestingly, Stockdale himself has added fuel to the fire by recently liking a post on Twitter that suggested West Ham should bring him to the London Stadium.

Stockdale’s contract at the AMEX expires this summer and Brighton face a real challenge keeping his services for their inaugural Premier League campaign.
