West Ham United have already been linked with plenty of players this summer and this continues to be the case.

One of the players that keeps coming up is Besiktas midfielder Oguzhan Ozyakup.

Widespread reports in the Turkish media are linking Oguzhan Ozyakup – who is also a target for Tottenham Hotspur and Arsenal – with a move to West Ham United.

Whether Ozyakup would choose to move to West Ham over Tottenham Hotspur (Champions League) or Arsenal (Europa League) was a point of contention.

But West Ham hold a trump card in the race for the talented 24-year-old: Slaven Bilic.

Slaven Bilic was Oguzhan Ozyakup’s manager during his two year stint with Besiktas and now he could raid his former club for the ball-playing central midfielder.

According to Turkish media outlet Fanatik reported via Sport Witness, Oguzhan Ozyakup is keen to reunite with Slaven Bilic and join the Hammers.

The Turkey international only has one year left on his deal with Besiktas and while the Turkish giants are desperate to keep him, they may be forced into a sale if Ozyakup wants to leave.

Slaven Bilic is also keen to push this move through and he will be hoping that Ozyakup is more successful in England than Gokhan Tore was last season.
