Reported West Ham United target Jack Wilshere faces an uncertain future at Arsenal.

According to The Telegraph, Arsenal manager Arsene Wenger has admitted that Jack Wilshere could be on his way out this summer.

Jack Wilshere is entering the final year of his contract at The Emirates Stadium and he has dropped down the pecking order significantly in recent times.

This is largely due to a number of injury problems over the years.

As a result, the 25-year-old spent last season on loan at Premier League side Bournemouth but suffered a broken leg in April which was the latest injury setback.

Jack Wilshere is now back in training with Arsenal and he has been targeted by both Sampdoria and West Ham, according to this report.

West Ham and Serie A side Sampdoria will be on alert after Wenger’s admission that Wilshere does not have a guaranteed future at Arsenal for the 2017/18 season.

Wilshere is a boyhood West Ham fan so a move could be on the cards.

The sporadic England international could bolster West Ham’s central midfield options after Josh Cullen was sent out on loan.

Cheikhou Kouyate is still a doubt for the start of the season, leaving Pedro Obiang, Mark Noble and Edimilson Fernandes as Bilic’s three options in the middle.
