West Ham appear to have secured the loan signing of Napoli left-back Pablo Armero on loan until the end of the season.

After Joey O’Brien‘s season was ended by a dislocated shoulder picked up in the 0-0 draw at Chelsea on Wednesday night, Sam Allardyce was forced to dip in to the transfer market for a replacement.

And it looks as if 27-year-old Columbian international Armero is the man to provide adequate cover from now until the end of the season, with Napoli confirming the deal on their official Twitter page…

Armero joined Napoli from Udinese last summer after a successful loan spell led to him making a permanent £4million move to the Stadio San Paolo.

The defender has been capped 49 times by Columbia, scoring one goal.

And fans on Twitter are delighted to see Armero arrive the the club…
