West Ham are desperately seeking additional recruits ahead of the new Premier League season and have been linked to a number of exciting additions.

One man touted for a potential move to the Premier League is Paris Saint-Germain’s experienced Argentina international Javier Pastore, who’s set to leave the Ligue 1 champions.

PSG are eyeing a sale of the South American to raise funds for their own activity in the market, as the push to adhere to UEFA’s Financial Fair Play regulations, but a deal certainly won’t be easy for the Hammers to complete.

Cited by Claret & Hughagent Bruno Martins has claimed Pastore is pricing himself out of a potential move to the Premier League.

“The media often misunderstand things, see only the transfer aspect and forget the salary aspect … Pastore, nobody will give him the equivalent, so we must make a downward transfer to offset what the salary will represent.”

“And the Argentineans are not known to make discounts … if there is a euro on the ground, they scratch the ground! It’s impressive. They are professionals, they are there to make money.”
