Plenty of changes have taken place at West Ham this summer but the club have made a major decision in regards to their options between the sticks.

Claret & Hugh report that Manuel Pellegrini has urged Adrian to remain at the London Stadium this summer to fight for first-team opportunities.

The Hammers signed Poland international Lukasz Fabianski from Swansea and he is expected to become first-choice for the club, which led to suggestions that Adrian could return to Spain.

However, Adrian has been told that form will dictate who will start in goal for the Hammers next season and has been told to fight for his spot at the London Stadium.

Adrian currently has an advantage due to the fact he is already in pre-season training with West Ham, whereas Fabianski is on holiday following his involvement in the World Cup in Russia.

Adrian spent last season fighting for opportunities alongside Manchester City loanee Joe Hart, though neither managed to impress with their form.
