Having Carlos Tevez back at West Ham is every Hammers fans’ dream.

We may see him back in claret and blue in the future, what with him admitting a few years ago that he had “unfinished business” at the club. But these days we are limited to seeing him play against us, and even that’s few and far between while he does his thing over in Italy with Juventus.

But he’s back at West Ham this week, training at Rush Green and playing at the Boleyn Ground for Argentina against Croatia on Wednesday night. It could be the last time he gets the chance to play at the ground where he became an East End legend before we move to the Olympic Stadium.

And, of course, it could be the last time he gets the chance to play under the Boleyn Ground lights in front of the very fans who he enjoys a brilliant relationship with.

Forget Lionel Messi, Carlos Tevez is the man I can’t wait to see on Wednesday…
