The club have released a new update on the Olympic Stadium and it’s looking even more incredible than ever before.
Karren Brady delivered a presentation of what fans should expect to happen to the ground once the Rugby World Cup finishes in November, with the confirmation of claret and blue seats, a state-of-the-art playing surface, the World Cup winner’s statue, the hospitality lounges and the new megastore.
Brady also revealed the planning permission application to have a state-of-the-art digital wrap around the outside of the arena, which will essentially be a big screen outside of the ground. Very impressive.
Many fans are still concerned about our move away from the Boleyn Ground, but this video is the latest update in a number of announcements from the club that have impressed me to the point where I simply cannot wait for the move to happen.
We’ll miss the Boleyn Ground forever, nothing will ever replace it, but if our new home turns out to look anything like what it looks like in the video below then fans are going to absolutely love it.
