Since the arrival of Slaven Bilic in the summer we’ve been able to witness a much more exciting style of football than in recent seasons.

The combination of Diafra Sakho, Dimitri Payet, Manuel Lanzini and Victor Moses made us one of the most dangerous attacking teams in the Premier League.

But injuries to Sakho and Payet have since put paid to that and we’ve now looked a completely different side with the likes of Andy Carroll leading the line instead – it’s as if we’ve gone back in time.

We’re yet to win a game in which Andy Carroll has started this season and although he did come off the bench to grab the winner against Chelsea a while back, the general feeling is that he no longer suits us.

And that’s evident by the results of one of our exclusive polls on MyVoteMe.com last week, where we asked you whether we should look to sell Carroll in January.

Unsurprisingly, a huge 69% of West Ham fans said yes. But has that changed now Sakho has been injured again? Should we now look to sign another more suitable striker in January?

Andy Carroll

  1. Andy has been told for far too long he is a top player, when he has not been for many years now, he is not better than a bench warmer, but no way can his salary be justified. I worry about our co-chairmen may persevere with him on principal, hope I am completely wrong. We need to replace in January, is Rhodes an option?
