Football computer games, especially EA Sports’ FIFA series, are huge these days.

Almost every football loving teenager/adult will own a copy of the latest version and will play it religiously on his or her own preferred console.

But football games used to be a lot simpler, especially before the era of Playstation’s, XBox’s and all the rest of them.

So Betway got summer signings Ashley Fletcher and Havard Nordtveit to go head-to-head with each other by playing three retro football computer games: FIFA 1996, which was released in 1995, 1992’s Sensible Soccer and International Superstar Soccer (1995).

In each round they booted up a new game, with the best of three being the overall winner, and the results are pretty surprising.
