West Ham are interested in signing Inter Milan striker Eder, according to Calcio Mercato Web.

The club’s very public search for a new striker has had frustrating results thus far this summer, and it appears boss Slaven Bilic is broadening his search from his initial list of ‘big name’ goal scorers.

The report claims Inter are holding out for a minimum offer of at least €15million before even considering Eder’s departure.

Eder, 29, starred for Italy at Euro 2016 this summer, and scored a superb solo goal in their group stage victory over Sweden.

The Brazilian born striker has only scored one goal for Inter Milan since signing on a two-year loan deal from Sampdoria in January.

However, he has enjoyed a far more prolific record at his previous clubs, including 27 goals in 40 league appearances for Empoli between 2009 & 2011, and 40 in 112 for Sampdoria.

Eder is valued at £10.63m by Transfermarkt.com, and would provide some much needed pace and unpredictability to our attacking play in 16/17.
