West Ham will play Chelsea at Stamford Bridge on the first day of the 16/17 Premier League season.
After an incredible campaign last season, which saw Slaven Bilic come in and lead us to a seventh place finish after an exciting challenge for the top four.
Bilic transformed the squad with a number of a quality additions and turned us in to one of the strongest teams in the division.
And although we couldn’t see out our bid for Champions League football, the general feeling is that we have come a long way in such a short space of time under the Croat, and that this season is expected to be even better.
The fixtures for the new campaign have now been released, and our first year in the Olympic Stadium gets under way with an away trip to Antonio Conte’s Chelsea.
