We all knew he would eventually, but Mark Noble signed his new contract at the club today.

He’s put pen-to-paper on a five year deal with an option of a further year, which takes him up until at least 2020. Happy days.

Noble has been superb for us this season, and for most of his West Ham career to date, and he deserves the new deal and everything else that will inevitably follow.

Hopefully that’s the armband on a permanent basis, a testimonial and some major silverware before he eventually hangs up his boots.

Mr. West Ham is currently holds the club record for the most appearances in the Premier League and has mode over 300 first-team appearances in all competitions.

He’s one of us, is Mark. He’s well on course to being a one club man. I already class him as a West Ham legend, and it’s a farce that he’s never been called up for England.

But anyway, here’s to another five years of Mark Noble in claret and blue…
