So, it looks like he’s definitely off then.
Ravel Morrison appears to be heading towards the Upton Park exit door and there’s nothing any of us can do about it. Sam Allardyce has made his mind up and he doesn’t see the brightest young talent the club has had for years in his plans. Muppet.
But where is her off to. It’d certainly hurt if he went over to QPR, which would almost certainly be a backwards step for someone so promising. If he’s going to leave then it’ll have to be a club actually pushing for honours and with the ability to help him reach his full potential.
So how does CSKA Moscow sound? Not what you were expecting?
According to Ravel’s Twitter feed last night, Ravel had some decisions to make. And then he tweeted “CSKA Moscow” before immediately deleting the message.
Is it a loan deal, or a permanent one? All I know is that if he does end up in Russia then he’ll have thrown his career away. He’ll earn a shed load, but his footballing potential will be wasted.
