It’s common knowledge that Andy Carroll needs more service up front if he is to pay back his £20million transfer fee and if Sam Allardyce is ever going to win back the fans.

So it’s about time Sam Allardyce played Matt Jarvis and Stewart Downing on both wings and moved Mo Diame in to the middle of the park to replace a tired looking Matty Taylor.

At the back, Winston Reid ‘should’ replace the injured James Collins and remain there until the end of the season, while it would be nice to see Pablo Armero in the starting line up to help out with the pace Sunderland have in their midfield, and on the wings in particular.

If Sam Allardyce can make the necessary changes and tell the players to not sit back if we do take the lead, then we should have no problems in beating a Sunderland side who just can’t buy a win at the moment.
