Having gone four games unbeaten with three consecutive victories, it’s again difficult to justify a change in the starting XI, but there are a couple of exceptions I would make for the visit of Southampton

Firstly, I’d hand Pablo Armero his debut in place of George McCartney. His pace will give us more of an attacking threat, which we are going to need against a good defensive side.

I’d also bring in Antonio Nocerino in place of Matty Taylor. Southampton’s creativity in midfield will be one of their biggest threats, so to have Nocerino’s ability and experience to nullify when possible will be a boost.

Other than that, I’d keep it the same as before. Some will call for Winston Reid to be recalled to the starting line-up but, James Collins and James Tomkins have been too solid of late to split up.
