West Ham have drawn Exeter or Liverpool in the fourth round of the FA Cup – and Liverpool fans are genuinely worried about the prospect of facing us at Anfield.

Of course Jurgen Klopp’s side still need to beat Exeter in their replay, but if they do then they face the very real prospect of losing to us for a third time this season.

We’ve done the double over them for the first time in over 50 years this season, registering a fairly straight forward 5-0 aggregate scoreline in the process.

And now we’ve got the chance to make it three wins out of three against Liverpool this season, which will be an unprecedented achievement.

The funniest thing about it, though, is just how annoyed and worried Reds fans are at the prospect of facing us again this season. They took to Twitter shortly after the draw was made to vent their frustration at getting a home draw against us, with hundreds, possible even thousands, of Liverpool fans clearly not confident of making it to the fifth round.

It just goes to show how far we’ve come under Slaven Bilic already – we’re yet to lose to any of the big teams in the Premier League this season, which is pretty impressive.

So here’s a bunch of extremely scared Liverpool fans to have a giggle at…

Meanwhile, West Ham fans be like…

  2. Cheers Glenn. Funnily enough, ever since Istanbul I’ve had a soft spot for Liverpool. I always like to see you lot doing well, unless it’s against us.

  3. Yeah that was pretty lame as banter standards go. I apologise.

Don’t get me wrong, I’ve enjoyed seeing West Ham do well this season – makes a nice change *cough*. My fathers a Hammer (or so my Mum tells me) as are most of my many, many uncles, cousins, step/half brothers (etc) and friends – both of them – and I’m sure most other PL fans are enjoying the novelty of seeing them on MOTD pre-23:00, if only for the sight of the council housing blocks in the background (it’s not a coincidence how often we see those, given the “up and under” style WHU play).

In all seriousness though, I say good luck to West Ham and their truly great fans. Nice to see you doing well and I hope it continues (just not against us lol).

  4. Was that your shoddy attempt at banter, Glenn. Not our fault so many of your fans are genuinely worried about playing us again.

Oh, and it’s several decent results against several top sides this season. You’re not the only one we’ve enjoyed beating this season, and you probably won’t be the last.

  5. Sorry Tommy, Google translate says no. Judging by the capital letters and overuse of explanation marks I’m assuming you’re worried about the prospect of facing West Ham in the FA Cup too.

  6. Sorry mate, I appear to have missed the reason/point/rationale of your post.

Could you express it again, this time in a comprehensive way and preferably in English, please?

  7. I suppose I’d be acting like I won the lottery as well if I supported a mid-table (barely) team who managed to finally get a few decent results against a top side.

    Enjoy it while it lasts!

  8. Hahahahaha get a grip you deluded fool, yee are West Ham!!!! we are Liverpool, you beat us twice in the league for the 1st time in 50 years and yee are crowing like yee are something that just shows the difference in clubs stature! we will finish ahead of ur amateur lote like we always do because ye are a mickey mouse outfit with delusions of grandeur so the 2 results in the league are meaningless, we will dump ye out of the FA cup with EASE.. haha little West Ham, got to love them
