Big Sam’s got himself bit of a selection dilemma again this afternoon, with Diafra Sakho returning and Andy Carroll rumoured to be in the match day squad.

Of course, Carroll won’t be fit enough to start, but Diafra Sakho’s goal scoring form before he picked up that shoulder injury suggests he could come straight back in to the side.

But who does he replace? Allardyce made a bit of a mistake last week at Stoke by not replacing him with another striker and instead putting Cheikhou Kouyate in to pack out the midfield.

But it’s unlikely he’ll go down that route today, which means Morgan Amalfitano may have to make way for Sakho, especially with Kouyate, Mark Noble and Alex Song all nailed on for a starting berth.

But you can never really tell what Allardyce is going to do these days. He’s got it right most of the time this season, let’s hope he does again today.

So here’s how we think West Ham might line up against Aston Villa today…
