Reports over the weekend linked the Hammers with a move for Granada left-back Guilherme Siqueira.
Our left back role has been something of an achilles heel for us over the past couple of seasons and we’re crying out for a solid player to fill in for the ageing George McCartney.
Siqueira, 27, is currently on loan at Benfica, who have an option to buy him, but could be tempted with a move to the Premier League should the Hammers follow through with a reported £5.5million bid for the Brazilian this summer.
Having not heard much about him, there’s little evidence to suggest he’s the left-back we so desperately need. But a quick look on YouTube gives you an indication of what type of player he is. YouTube can make any player look world class, but it does highlight a player’s strength’s, and Siqueira does look like an interesting talent.
