So this weekend we’ll be able to welcome Carl Jenkinson back to Premier League action.

The right-back was ineligible to face Arsenal on Sunday, but is expected to slot straight back in to the starting XI against Leicester City at the Boleyn Ground on Saturday.

He’ll be a welcome addition to our side and will certainly further strengthen what is already looking like a solid back line that includes Winston Reid, Angelo Ogbonna and Aaron Cresswell.

Last season we were treated to Jenko’s quick breaks down the right, overlapping and then whipping in a wonderful ball for the likes Diafra Sakho, Enner Valencia and Andy Carroll to get on the end of.

So having him back doing that for us will certainly be a huge boost, particularly with his pace. And it’s his pace that was highlighted towards the end of last season, when he recorded the equal fastest speed from a player in the top flight.

He reached a rapid 35.3kph in the away game against QPR, which equalled Newcastle’s Moussa Sissoko…

Such speeds would probably suggest Jenko is pretty nifty over 100 metres and may have been a decent candidate to represent Great Britain at the Olympics had not also been a pretty nifty footballer as well.

Not many people are blessed with such talents, but Fitness First – Team GB’s first ever Official Fitness Partner – have launched a brand new sports profiler tool to begin the countdown to next summer’s Olympic Games in Rio. The test is designed to help find out which Olympic Sport they are best suited to.

Jenko will obviously be suited to both Football and sprinting, but what would you be suited to. Take the test below to find out…

  1. Depends how long it takes him to accelerate up to top speed and how long he holds his top speed.

I think Payet would give him a run for his money. So would Kouyate, Sakho, Valencia (both) Oxlade Chamberlain, Depay, Mane, Long, Bellerin, Yedlin, Moses and Walcott. All of those are super quick.
