West Ham have signed former Manchester City midfielder Abdul Razak on a short-term contract.

The 21-year-old Ivory Coast international came through the youth ranks at the Etihad Stadium, making his City debut against West Brom in February 2011 under Roberto Mancini.

He moved to Anzhi Makhachkala in an initial loan move in September 2013 and made 11 appearances for the Russian side, including two Europa League starts against Tottenham Hotspur last season.

Razak has been capped five times by the Ivory Coast, earning his first Elephants cap in a 3-0 friendly win over Austria in November 2012.
