West Ham have offered former Sunderland striker Asamoah Gyan a £100,000-per-week loan deal, according to MirrorFootball.

The 28-year-old Ghana international is currently playing for United Arab Emirates outfit Al Ain and has scored over 60 league goals since signing from the Black Cats last year.

And it is believed the Hammers have offered him a £100,000-per-week contract to help keep them in the Premier League and provide back up for the injured Andy Carroll.

Gyan, who signed for Sunderland from Rennes for £13million in 2010, scored 10 goals in 34 Premier League appearances before leaving the Stadium of Light in 2012.
