If Sam Allardyce is to have his way then Arsenal’s Carl Jenkinson will be announced as our sixth summer signing within the next few hours.
The 22-year-old right-back is reportedly close to a season-long loan deal with the Hammers after turning down moves to Hull, Sunderland and Swansea to stay in London.
He’ll no doubt be brought in to cover Guy Demel, although he could even be brought in as first team player, with Demel obviously knocking on a bit now.
But how much do you know about Carl Jenkinson? He’s been in and out of Arsenal’s side for a few years now, but he’s still a relatively unknown quantity.
