Much has been made of how Sam Allardyce deals with a bit of an injury crisis in the squad today at Everton.

If rumours are to be believed, we’ll be without Cheikhou Kouyate, Stewart Downing and Diafra Sakho at Goodison Park today, all of which have been so important to our impressive start to the season.

But that doesn’t mean we’re doomed, which may have been the case in previous seasons. Andy Carroll is expected to start in place of Sakho, while Kevin Nolan could come in for Downing.

Other than that, we should be the same as most weeks, with Noble and Song alongside each other in midfield, and Collins and Reid partnering in central defence.

It’s going to be a tough game, but we should be just as dangerous going forward without our start performers, especially as Sam Allardyce insists he won’t revert back to route one football with Carroll back in the side. Let’s hope he keeps his word.

So here’s how both teams line up at Goodison Park this afternoon…
