David Gold has hailed the talent of youngster Martin Samuelsen, who scored his first goal for Norway on Tuesday night.
The 19-year-old, who is currently loan at Championship club Blackburn Rovers, helped his country avoid a potential upset against minnows San Marino, who had pegged Norway to 1-1 with only their third competitive goal since October 2008.
But the Norwegians scored three goals in the final 15 minutes to seal a 4-1 victory, with Samuelsen opening his senior international account.
And David Gold took to Twitter shortly after the final whistle to congratulate the former Manchester City academy graduate and to reveal his pride that West Ham have a talented youngster in their ranks…
