Roma striker Marco Borriello has dropped a huge hint that he is ready to complete his move to West Ham this weekend.
The 31-year-old is reportedly in London this weekend for a medical ahead of six-month loan move and it is believed the club are close to announcing his signature.
And after weeks of January Transfer Window disappointment for West Ham, the time appears to have finally arrived to celebrating the signing of an actual STRIKER.
The Italian, who has scored just one goal in 11 Serie A appearances this season, tweeted a message of thanks to Roma and its fans last night before following West Ham’s official West Ham Twitter account:
Un saluto a tutti i tifosi della @OfficialASRoma…sono stati mesi fantastici…coronati da un bellissimo record…grazie a tutti voi!

As things stand, there are no signs of a late bid to hijack the move from Everton. Not yet, anyway.
