Thanks god that’s all over.
Nine new arrivals and fair bit of dead wood thrown out the door, it has been one of the best transfer windows for the club in recent history.
We’ve had the chance to see our new arrivals, apart from today’s new man Morgan Amalfitano, and there’s a lot of enthusiasm and promise surrounding the business we’ve managed to get done.
Many will still believe Sam Allardyce isn’t the man to be successful with such signings, but that will all become clear in the coming weeks/months.
Today’s deadline day saw Mo Diame leave the club for Hull in a permanent deal, but we managed to bring in Marseile’s Amalfitano on a three year deal. He looked good for West Brom last season and I’m sure he’ll impress for us in the future.
